淮陰工學院為江蘇省屬普通本科院校，坐落于敬愛的周恩來總理故鄉、中國歷史文化名城——江蘇省淮安市。學校始建于1958年，2000年升格為本科高校，2011年9月,被選為“計劃教育和培訓優秀工程師(PETOE)”試點機構。2011年10月經國務院學位委員會批準，學校成為“服務國家特殊需求項目”培養碩士專業學位研究生試點單位。
學校現有枚乘路、北京路兩個校區，校園占地2070畝，校舍建筑面積57萬平方米。設有16個二級學院及教學單位，現有本科專業62個，研究生專業1個，在校普通本科生、研究生18,000余人。學校現有在職教職工1389人，其中專任教師1068人，具有教授、副教授等高級職稱人員454人，博士、碩士958人，研究生導師275人，其中兼職博導10人，企業導師55人。2012年開始自主招收全日制專業學位碩士研究生，已培養5屆，目前在校研究生200人左右。
學校大力推進國際化發展，積極開展對外交流與合作，先后與30多個國家的高校建立了友好合作關系，目前共有在校學士留學生60余人，來自18個不同的國家。
2017年起，學校開始招收碩士留學生。

學習方式為全日制。學習年限為3年。我校實行雙學期制，第1學期9月至次年1月，第2學期2月至7月。授課語言采用英文授課。
四、申請資格
1.申請人須為非中國籍公民，身體健康，品行端正，遵守中國政府的法律、法規和學校的規章制度。
2.必須具有國內外正規大學學士學位，且本科階段所學專業與申請碩士專業相同或緊密相關。
五、提交申請材料
申請人必須如實填寫和提交以下申請材料：
1.《淮陰工學院外國留學生學習申請表》(附件4)，用中文或英文按要求填寫，并附照片。
2.經過公證的最高學歷證明及成績單。如果是除中文或英文以外的其它語言文本，則需提交該文本的中文或英文譯文，并且進行公證。
3.申請人如果是在校學生或在職工作，需提交本人就讀學校或工作單位出具的在學證明或在職證明。如果是除中文或英文以外的其它語言文本，則需提交該文本的中文或英文譯文。
4.HSK考試成績單復印件(如有)。
5.來華學習或研究計劃。
6.須提交兩名教授或副教授的推薦信，用中文或英文書寫。
7.提交《外國人體格檢查記錄》(附件6)原件及復印件各一份。申請人應嚴格按照《外國人體格檢查記錄》中要求的項目進行檢查。缺項、未貼本人照片或照片上未蓋騎縫章、無醫師或醫院簽字蓋章的《外國人體格檢查記錄》無效。
8.護照掃描件。
六、申請方式及時間
申請者可在淮陰工學院英文網站上http://en.hyit.edu.cn/ 點擊“Online Application System”系統進行網上申請或將上述材料電子掃描發至jinlu1988@hyit.edu，同時將紙質材料寄至我校國際教育學院。
申請者請于2017年6月30日前郵寄至中國江蘇省淮安市清江浦區枚乘路1號淮陰工學院國際教育學院801室，郵編223003。
七、入學資格及時間
1.我校根據來華留學生的基本情況、申請專業師資情況、導師意見和學校意見擇優錄取。
2.我校對通過初審的申請人，將會發送郵件通知“初審通過”和繳納住宿保證金2000元的通知。
3.我校在確認收到保證金后，將向申請者寄發給錄取學生《錄取通知書》和外國留學生來華簽證申請表(簡稱JW202表)，供申請人到所在國的中國大使館或領事館自行辦理學生簽證“X1簽證”。
4.入學時間為2017年9月，學生必須持錄取通知書及“JW202表”按期到校報到。未履行延期手續，超過報到時間 15 天者，取消入學資格。

2. 淮陰工學院留學生獎學金:
為吸引和鼓勵更多優秀外國留學生來淮陰工學院學習和交流，我校特設立“淮陰工學院留學生校長獎學金”和“淮陰工學院國際教育學院留學生獎學金”。校長獎學金獲得者可充抵碩士研究生學習階段(三年)學費，但學生每學期各門課程考試成績必須達到60分以上(含60分)，且遵守校紀校規。各類獎學金設置詳見淮陰工學院留學生獎學金設置標準(附件3)。申請者請在提交申請時一并提交“淮陰工學院留學生校長獎學金申請表”(附件5)。

Admission of Huaiyin Institute of Technology For International Students(2017)
Huaiyin Institute of Technology is one of the provincial institutions of higher education in North Jiangsu province,China. It is located in Huai'an, a famous historical & cultural city as well as the hometown of Zhou Enlai who was the first Premier of the People's Republic ofChina. HYIT was founded in 1958, and in 2000 it was upgraded to an undergraduate institution granting Bachelor Degrees. In September 2011, it was selected as one of the pilot institutions undertaking “A Plan for Educating and Training Outstanding Engineers (PETOE)”. In October 2011, approved by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, it was authorized to offer Master Degree of Engineering according to the National Special Needs Talent Training Project.
HYIT has two campuses—Meicheng Road Campus and Beijing Road Campus---covering an area of about 2070 mu (about 148 hectares). HYIT has perfect infrastructure and facilities and a floored space of 570,000 square meters. HYIT consists of 16 faculties and colleges, offering Bachelor degrees in 62 programs and Master degree in 1 program. There are over 18,000 registered regular students studying for Bachelor Degrees or Master Degree. HYIT has a staff of 1,389, among whom there are 1,068 faculty members, including 454 professors and associate professors, 958 with Doctor or Master Degrees, 275 postgraduate advisers which include 10 part-time advisers and 55 enterprise advisers. HYIT began to recruit full-time professional degree graduate students in 2012 and now it has more than 200 postgraduate students.
HYIT actively promotes the academic internationalization and has been enhancing the linkage and cooperation with over 30 overseas universities. More than 60 international students from 18 different countries have studied for undergraduate degree in HYIT now.
From 2017, HYIT begins enrolling postgraduate students from all over the world.

Mode: Full-time
HYIT institutes two-semester system, semester 1: September to January and semester 2: February to July.
Length of Study: Bachelor-4 years, Master-3 years.
The applicants who don’t have HSK certificate (level 4) but will study the programs in Chinese must attend 2 semesters’ Chinese language training before starting the majors. No such requirement for those who would apply for the programs conducted in English. Applicants who have HSK certificate (level 5) may start the majors with Chinese students.
4. Eligibility
(1) The applicant must be non-Chinese with a valid passport, be in good health and have no criminal record, will observe all the laws ofChinaas well as the rules and regulations of HYIT.
(2) Applicants for Bachelor Degree studies must finish a high school diploma or its equivalent and aged under 28.
(3) Applicants for Master Degree studies must obtain the Bachelor Degree from domestic and international universities with the same or close major.
5. Application Documents
The following documents are needed:
(1) Application Form for International Students filled in Chinese or English with a record photo (refer to appendix or see details in website);
(2) Notarized diploma and transcript in English or Chinese. If not in English or Chinese, translate and notarize (photocopy, the original ones must be presented when you come to register);
(3) Studying/working Certificate and transcript with notarized for current senior middle school graduates/work unit (photocopy, the original one must be presented when you come to register);
(4) Certificate of HSK (photocopy, the original one must be presented when you come to register);
(5) Study plan or research plan inChina;
(6) Applicants for Master Degree must submit the recommendation letters from two professor (or associate professor) in English or Chinese;
(7) Foreigner’s Physical Examination Form (refer to appendix or see details in website) and blood test report. Original forms must be presented when you come to register. The medical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner’s Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, official stamp of the hospital or a photograph of the applicants are invalid;
(8) Passport photocopy.

7. Approval, Notification and Enrollment:
(1) HYIT will organize a committee to review all the application materials, make the decision whether or not to admit the applicants.
(2) After that, HYIT send them the Pre-Admission Notice with Payment notice of accommodation deposit by E-mail.
(3) HYIT will release the list of matriculated students and send them the Admission Notice and Visa Application for Study inChinafor “X” visa application in the Chinese embassy. All the International students matriculated in HYIT are responsible for their visa application on their own.
(4) Enrollment: Autumn semester: September 2017. The definite time will be informed on Admission Notice. All the matriculated students should be enrolled in HYIT on time according to the Admission Notice. Registration can only be delayed for acceptable reasons and for no more than 15 days with prior permission from HYIT. Those who fail to register before the end of the grace period without proper reasons will be considered to abandon the admission.
8. Fees

(2) To attract and encourage more foreign students to study in HYIT, our school set up HYIT President Scholarship and Excellent Study Scholarship of Overseas Students in School of International Education (SIE) of HYIT. HYIT sets the HYIT President Scholarship for applicants which waives tuition fee for Undergraduate study (4 years) and graduate study(3 years). The application form for the first year’s HYIT President Scholarship (refer to appendix) is required to be scanned and submitted with the other admission application documents. The HYIT President Scholarship for the next three years is applied for each academic year with the requirements that all exams should pass 60 and no bad-behavior record.
