要素一：現象句
雅思寫作考題中會出現一個社會現象，考生的任務就是在自己文章的第一句話將之改寫，重述這個社會現象。

It is quite common these days for young people in many countries to have a break from studying after graduating from high school．

所以，從上文中可以看出，一般來說，現象句會在最開始加上一個套句，并且加上地點和時間。

點到了why difficult--通過引用兩組不同人的觀點，把造成這個現象的原因大致導出，與上一個例子有異曲同工之妙。
對于argumentative（do you agree or disagree? ; discuss both views and give your opinion．; is it a positive or negative development?），這種題型基本上都問了作者的觀點，所以在開頭段落的描寫過程中沒什么特別大的區別。

There is no doubt that traffic and pollution from vehicles have become huge problems, both in cities and on motorways everywhere．Solving these problems is likely to need more than a simple rise in the price of petrol．
總之，如果要寫出一篇較好的雅思作文，建議考生們在開頭段落的描寫方面絕對要達到快速和準確這兩個要求，把時間控制在5分鐘之內，把字數把握在30-40個單詞之間。
